nudge appoints Liesha Lobo as Chief Technology Officer

August 2022, nudge has appointed Liesha Lobo as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its technology and engineering leadership as the pace of technological change creates new opportunities for the future of personalized financial health.

Lobo brings extensive experience in enterprise benefits technology, software engineering, and global technology delivery. Before joining nudge, she held technology leadership roles at Darwin and Thomsons Online Benefits, having progressed through hands-on software engineering, technology delivery, and global leadership roles during her career.

That combination of technical expertise and experience delivering technology at scale will be increasingly important as developments in artificial intelligence accelerate.

At nudge, Lobo will focus on building the engineering expertise and technical capability needed to evolve its technology alongside these advances, exploring how AI and emerging technologies can make financial support increasingly personal, proactive, and useful.

Building the expertise to keep pace with advances in AI

As CTO, Lobo will lead nudge’s technology strategy and engineering organization, strengthening the technical foundations needed to scale its global financial health platform and continue developing its engineering capability.

Her remit will also include understanding and responding to the rapidly changing technology landscape. As AI capabilities advance, nudge will continue to invest in the expertise needed to identify where new technology can improve financial health experiences while ensuring innovation is underpinned by strong engineering, security, and governance.
