April 2023, Delta Air Lines has partnered with global financial health platform nudge to extend financial health support to more than 3,100 international employees across 55 countries.
With financial support already available to U.S. employees, Delta wanted to create a more consistent experience for its wider global workforce while recognizing differences in language, currency, and local financial context.
The program focuses on two closely connected goals: strengthening financial understanding and helping employees build greater financial resilience.
Through nudge, employees receive impartial, personalized guidance, relevant to their location, and circumstances.
Delta is also linking participation with a localized financial incentive equivalent to around $1,000 in buying power. Employees can unlock payments by completing in-platform activities, including a financial health checkup, budget planner, and selected learning.
The approach combines personalized guidance with localized communications and data insights, giving Delta greater visibility of employee needs and progress across different markets.
Jeff Miller, Vice President, U.S. at nudge, said:
“For a workforce as diverse as Delta’s, financial health support has to work across different countries, roles, and circumstances while still feeling relevant to each employee. Delta is taking that a step further by connecting personalized guidance with a meaningful incentive, creating a clear route from engagement to financial action.”
The program extends Delta’s culture of employee support beyond the U.S. and creates a consistent framework for strengthening financial health across its international workforce.
